I’d like to recommend our amazing wedding DJ-Alan Reeves from Going Bananas. Alan travelled all the way across the North Island to be our DJ, playing the perfect pre ceremony music, ceremony songs, cocktail hour music and of course kept everyone on the dance floor all night!!

Alan was inundated with requests and took it all in his stride, he kept the dance floor pumping with the old and young guests, and added special touches and games to make our wedding extra special.

Our guests have been asking who he was, as he was such a key part of our day.

He even found perfect sound bites for each speaker, I still don’t know how he got them so perfect for each person? Alan is such a talent, and so much more than a DJ.

I couldn’t recommend him high enough! If there was an option for more than 5 stars we would be giving it!

Jono was amazing! He was professional but still heaps of fun and he definitely knew how to hype up the room and get everyone involved. Christian and I were so happy with the job he did for our wedding, he really made my day. We will definitely be recommending him. Thanks again.

We absolutley loved Jono as the MC and DJ at our Wedding. He was amazing and a crowd favourite. I cannot emphasise how amazing and funny Jono was as he literally made our reception a memory that we will never forget. It was lovely of him to mix Cambodian and English music and happily accepted Cambodian music when our guests requested it. Every home will be talking about how great he was and they will definitly remember him when they need a DJ or MC. My husband and I had Alan Reeves from Going Bananas to DJ our Persian Wedding. He met me and we worked together on songs which were mainly from Iran(Persia). We had a great night and Alan ensured the dance floor was full all night long. We recommend Alan highly and even if you have an ethnic wedding he sure will nail the music.

We used Going Bananas for our wedding reception. They were very professional and met up with us prior to our wedding to find out our expectations and a list of our favourite songs. Music is such a vital component to a great party and our DJ Jono nailed it. The Going Bananas team followed our brief and all our favourite songs were played throughout the evening. My husband and I could relax and enjoy the party. There was an electric vibe in the room and the music played a crucial role in creating this ambience! Our guests loved the music and Jono had the dance floor pumping until the venue closed at 1.00am. We couldn't be more pleased with how the night went and thank Going Bananas for help making it so special for us.
